i completely understand what "theunforgivenii" is asking. Obviously he's really not into lowered cars as much, i'm pretty sure he knows one good way to eliminate the gap is to lower the car. But that's not what he's asking.

I have a lowered car with 215/45/17. and yes i do like the look of it. But i'm really tired of driving a lowered car, i'm even thinking of putting my car back to stock height. But i've seen the same (not lowered) car i have with same rims and size and it does look a little more like a rally car. It's almost time to buy new tires for me i might just go with a little biger tires and with stock height, still haven't seen one yet so i don't know how it would look. Or just put my stock rims with stock height back.

And about the speedometer i don't know what is the big fuss about that so what if you're 1-3 miles slower/faster the only time it would make a big difference is if you probably drive 150 mph.

Oh my goodness.. thank you! And to reply, I think my car would look nice lowered, but the thing I know and people here dont understand is that I.Cannot.Lower.It.Because.It.Will.SCRAPE.. so bad! I mean, It scrapes now, but I've gotten better at identifying spots where Ill scrape, so I know how to avoid them now, but if I lowered it, well then I'll just freaking scrape everywhere.. especially coming out of my driveway, which I currently have to enter/exit at an angle.

So maybe you can answer my question, since my car has not been lowered, which means if I put the original tires back on it would be at stock height, do you think I could get away with 215/60/R17's or something like that? My goal is to eliminate the fender gap and upgrade my tires at the same time.

get some better struts that way you do not have to worry about it

Okay...your tires are originally 185/65/15. That means your speedo is already 2.7% too fast, which isn't bad. 215/60 would be 11% too slow, which is pretty horrendous. You are NOT going to eliminate your fender gap just by buying bigger wheels. Your two options are to either put 15" wheels on it, which would give far less of an illusion of wheel gap, or to lower your car.

I had the samr fender gap issue. Lower it. Eibachs are a nice...dare I say modest drop.
