$4000?

Your car is worth next to nothing if you don't fix it.

Unfixed, your KBB trade-in would be under 1,000 easy. I wanna say less than that even.

trade in is about 3,000-4,000 USD so I assume 4,000-5,000 CAN?

That's LX 4dr auto 100,000

How about a 95 4-cyl EX-L 4 dr with 207K+, single owner, maintained, all paperwork, ABS out, good condition?

The only way you're gonna get anything for a busted ass car is if you sell it to a mechanic or a dealership who have one of those "$2000 push pull or tow" promotions. Private Party, someone is gonna buy it for next to nothing, fix it themselves and make a killing selling it or using it. 99% of the population has no desire to deal with a car that isn't working properly when there are so many cars out there to buy.

The problem is is that the ABS went out on mine (and someone else's I know) around about the same time, only a year or year and a half after buying the cars (both 95s).

I've always thought that there must have been an issue with that year's ABS unit or the world's largest coincidence ever. You don't have to have ABS, so I didn't pay the $1400+ the stealership wanted at the time to fix it. That's BS. And 8.5+ years later, the car still drives like a champ and brakes just fine.

And too, I wouldn't consider a car a "busted-ass" car just because the ABS is out.

yeah the abs thing is a common problem for the 5th gen especially the 94-95 and the problem usually happen after 100k miles.
I have 1996 EXL sedan auto 92k miles, tein ss and 17 wheels and a crappy intake because I though it was cool at the time, now is gay. <-- this year my friend was giving me $6,000 cash for it. I said no because I dont have $20k dollars to buy a new one so he went and paid $9,000 for a 2002 integra with 60k miles.

I say go rebuild the transmission ($500-$700)and sell it for $9,000 easyyy. and the windows stuff is about $100 with lifetime warranty. a new manual tranny is $2,000 . the only thing I hate so much about honda, is the window problem.

I would. Why would someone pay anywhere close to to KBB or edmunds for your car when they could buy a car with working ABS?

Ummm... I don't know. Maybe because they are looking for a deal on an otherwise great car to be that old with that many miles??? Obviously, not going to be for everyone.

Yeah, I'm going to get raped by the stealership just because you say I can't sell my car the way it is. Now, THAT would be "gay."
