The problem is is that the ABS went out on mine (and someone else's I know) around about the same time, only a year or year and a half after buying the cars (both 95s).

I've always thought that there must have been an issue with that year's ABS unit or the world's largest coincidence ever. You don't have to have ABS, so I didn't pay the $1400+ the stealership wanted at the time to fix it. That's BS. And 8.5+ years later, the car still drives like a champ and brakes just fine.

And too, I wouldn't consider a car a "busted-ass" car just because the ABS is out.
