Im new to this forum, maybe someone can help me out . I was changing the distributor seal because of an oil leak and broke the tab on top that holds the distributor to the head. I had to take the valve cover and realized the piece I broke was holdind down the cam shaft. I had two option weld it or buy a new head. So not having the money for a new head I had the piece welded. If anyone knows what is the torque specs for these cam hold down pieces please post them. The car is a 1995 accord ex 2.2 vtec ...Thanks

 

do u have a pic of what broke?

u dont have 2 take off the valve cover to replace the distributor.
