i just bought a 97 accord with 168k runs good but needs some stuff like shocks and the clutch is pretty worn but driveable

 

if its not a lemon... as long as you keep it maintainanced and dont abuse it, it'll go for a while.

Anyone know how long the 6th gen Accords should last? I have a 02 Accord EX with 105k. Im sure Honda has resolved many of the issues that some of the earlier models had.

 

I dont know anyone that has driven a 6th gen with over 250k miles so who knows how long it will last but here is a 500,000k miles

Maybe this will sum it up.. you'll either get sick of driving it or run out of money trying long before it throws in the towel.

 

hm....maybe 135k...if you drive it much more conservatively.
