Default help with buying intake?

Can anyone help me with buying an intake? i have no clue how to buy an intake. i have a 98 honda accord sedan. how do i look for an intake and what am i supposed to look for? thanks! (first post! =/)

Do a search please. An intake will make your engine louder and that's about it. AEM is the best brand for Accords.

dont know too much about under the hood, so im trying to figure out wat will make my car go faster. its stock and its shitty. not powerful at all. wat can i buy and install to make it run faster?

If by "faster" you mean "noticeably faster", just about nothing aside from forced induction or nitrous will really make a big difference in engine output.

Except a Tornado, of course.

hah, a tornado =D i live in cali. hmm, if not go faster in acceleration or watever, what installations can i do to up the horsepower? im trying to atleast mod my car so its at an okay speed.

probably swapping the engine would be the best thing?
