How much do you think a new windshield cost me? And if i have it done at a cheap place as Shallow Bay suggessted, will the quality of the installation be good? How much would it cost if a Honda Dealorship installed the windshield? Thanks for your time.
If you have insurance contact 89glass.com ( link is up there ^ )
fill out the info and literally they will call you in like 3-4 minutes upon clicking on submit. Chances are if you have full coverage it will be covered.

The quality of a local glass shop is the same as the quality of a dealer. The difference in price is only to pay for an oem product from a dealership, but come on, its glass.

Will it have that sun shade band at the top of the windshield?

p.s. by sun shade band i mean that tinted area at the very top of the windshield.

It should cost you around $250-$300. I have had my windshield replaced about 5 or 6 times between my 1992 Civic and 2002 Accord (last time was just a few months ago) were all within that range. Hope this helps, and just hope you don't have my luck with cracked windshields!
