i jus fixed the alternator and then i went ot jump my car n the jumper cables touched the h0ood and sparked and somehow my starter went.....


plz i need to know how ot fix the starter cuz that is my only car n i need it n cant take it to the shop its to expensive

 

you sure its not just the main fuse?

 

plz tell me how i could tel cuz my dad said it might be that plz tell me how i could tell or how to replace it and where it is on the car.

Check the main fuse under the hood you prolly just burnt it up

 

check your owners manual for a fuse list. it may even be written on top of the fuse box cover under the hood.

 

i do not have a owners manual but when i try to jump it everything else in the car works.

look at the fuse box under the hood there should be a green 40 amp fuse that is clear look in it and see if the metal in it still connects if not u need a fuse take it out go up to the parts store and buy lk 6 of them so next time u jump ur car and mess up you'll have them there but if u don't got a ride up to the store take a wire and screw it in on both sides this will work but don't drive around lk that
