hi guys i dont know if you remeber last year my tranny went out at 53k on my 98 accord 4cyl auto.....just wanted to let you know that the second one died today.....i just dont get this i dont' know what the F*** to do with this car.. fix it or sell it and get another accord.

how do you go through two transmissions that fast?? maybe you should look into getting an accord that's 5 speed???????

 

when did you get the 1st one swapped?

I believe all Honda installed transmissions are covered up to 100K from time of replacement.

 

5spd>Auto for Honda trannies.

 

change your fluid every year, it helps

 

what gear are you driving it on when u go on the fwy? do you do full stops when reversing to driving... vise versa? either your buying shitty used transmissions or you dont kno how to drive.

 

i do the full stops and everything....ok but i think i have one problem(i dont' know how to drive) i punch it till it goes to second gear than i let go and i dont' let it shift through all the gears could that be a problem????

 

by the way the last tranny came from another accord i think 2000 and it had 70k on it and i swapped it last year jan 2005...

 

punching it/flooring on an automatically is never a good thing. i believe.
