~car wont start~
i went to get my car today i bought it but dont know wuts wrong wit it. the battery was completly dead and i had to jump it. and then it started and i drove it around the block and then when i got back it died. so i jumped it again n then started it then let it sit for like two mins and went to drive away and it clunked out again. and then jumped it and drove it back to my sisters which was a block away and it shut off there too so i jus left it please let me know wut it is or could be thanx
battery is most likely toasted
change battery, get a digital multi meter, start car and check voltage at battery and it should be at around 14.2v if its lower then get the alternator checked at your local shop like pepboys for a fee of around $20.
Battery should fix it though

Has the oil issue been solve or is this an additional problem?

if you have the money, or you dont know how or have the tools to fix it, take it to a shop.
That altenator location is somewhat frustrating, and with a previouly bad valve cover gasket there is gonna be oil everywhere... so replacing that alt is going to be a less than fun experiance.

im sure it has been posted, nobody enjoys reposting a how-to... and if it has not been coverd here, im sure that 3geez.com has it (im pretty sure thats the site) ... or you could go to autozone and get a manual which has a how-to for almost anything you need to do on your accord.
