it was neglected...most of it is just wear and tear stuff. i freaked out on saturday because the #3 sparkplug was covered in oil :nervous: i bought a new valve cover gasket and sparkplug gaskets though, so hopefully that solves the problem. i don't think it's a bad piston ring since there is no smoke from the tailpipe, and the compression test was almost even for each cylinder.

here's a summary of what's been done to the car in the 3 weeks ive had it:

- new front rotors
- new tires
- distributor cap & rotor
- new plugs, wires, coil wire (OEM)
- coolant flush
- tranny drain & fill
- oil change
- detailed and airblasted the engine bay to kill a nasty ass mold smell
- shampooed the interior to get rid of questionable stains

i got the car pretty cheap, so i dont mind doing some of this stuff. however if it ends up being a money pit ill try to flip it for a little $$$.

Haha...I need to change my location...I moved to the Phoenix area last summer. But it's not much further, swing on by, I'm sure she would love to get her manicured nails dirty. Trust me...pushing the brake pedal is the extent of her mechanical skills.
