Default dead speedometer. need help.

hello, Im new here. well as the title says my speedometer is dead, & I have no idea why. every other meter works. just not the speedometer. can anyone help?



my car specs are...
honda
accord LX
1993
4 door
inline 4

most likely the VSS (vehicle speed sensor), very common issue with older hondas and a dead speedo is a sure sign. If you continue to drive the car like this, you should get a check engine light...

The sensor is located on top of the transmission, near the firewall... almost directly below where the intake tube meets the throttle body.

the check engine does come on alot.
