car: 2k2 cpe

I live in an apt complex and there's a front gate. I programmed the homelink for both my garage and front gate but somehow only the garage one works.
I tried all 3 button for SO many times but still the front gate one doesnt work. I also tried using a neighbor's remote opener to program it but still no luck.

I had an exact same car (lemon, returned to HONDA last year) and programmed both in and they worked fine..

Any idea or should I bring it back to Honda for them to look at?
