Not to state the obvious here; but have you changed your fuel FILTER anytime recently. If those things get clogged, it can all but shut off fuel supply.

Is your car throwing any codes? My only other thought would be that something is telling your car that it's getting way more oxygen than it actually is; and the gas input is being compensated, so in other words, you may could be running REALLY rich. But THAT is a stretch on my part.

Nope, no cat converter. No faults codes either, it's got me stumped, I'm going to get the fuel pressure checked next week.

Yup, cambelt and valve clearances were done about 3000km ago.
