i was trying to remove my spare tire today and could not get the bolt to move. i was able to turn it half way but now it's stuck. the screw does not seem to want to turn left or right. the can shake the spare, but the bolt is in the way of it coming off. i sprayed some WD-40 on it and nothing. any advice? am i supposed to saw the bolt off now?

 

use a breaker bar for leverage... tht'll help turn the bolt

 

use a wrench/bar to get some leverage.

 

but when i do that, i used the fork of a hammer to turn most of it, eventually it doesn't so anything and the t-bar on the bolt begins to bend.

 

i think the bolt jumped a thread... try screwing it back in and back out again

last resort... dremel off the bolt/screw and replace it.
