Default 98 Accord Stalling

Hey guys, I have a 5speed 98 accord. The problem used to be that I can't start the car some times. But once i let it sit for a few minutes to a few hours. then the car would start again. Now the car would stall when i'm driving, whether on the freeway or on the street. Anybody ever had a similar problem, i went to a mechanics, couldn't figure out the problem. i know you guys are the experts in cars.
Thanks =)

are you stalling while moving at high speeds? do you stall only at red lights?

when you stall, do you need to restart the car or does it come on by suddenly?

stalling at high speed, or low speed, but not when stopped.

one more question, when you say "high speed" are you ever stalling when you have your foot on the gas? only when coasting?

i think it happens when my foot is on the gas, not coasting.

I'm thinking you have a jammed EGR valve.

1. it's not electrical. If it were a failing alternator, you wouldn't have to restart your car, it would actually just come back on randomly.

2. by stepping on the gas, the car won't die ... sometimes. That would make sense too.

should i take it to a mechanics since they seem to know less than you do, or should i replace it myself which seems even more unlikely

Clean your throttle body and run some fuel injector cleaner. Also check and see if your Cat converter is clogged or not ?
