ONLY USE HONDA ATF FLUID.

If the transmission almost wont move then I think its on the verge of croaking.
Was this a mechanic that told you this?

Your best bet would be to drain the transmission and just refill it with ATF fluid.
Take her for a spin and see if its any better.

I just changed my tranny fluid 2 weeks ago and it does feel a lot smoother.

Well the Trans-X blends with the transmission fluid and is suppose to help with slipping. That would be the cheapest route instead of going out and buy a brand new transmission for the car.

Change the tranny fluid first and use only Honda replacement fluid. And remember, you don't "flush" Accord trannies.

Honda ATF fluid has some sort of lubricate within the fluid.
I dont know what TransX is but based on the horror stories I've heard when using anything other than Honda isnt work the risk.

I do not question your statement. I just would like to know why you say it.

I changed my son's ATF on 1995 LX when it had 89000 with Dexron III (if I remember it right). Now it has around 133000 and still runs OK.

What year is you Honda? If its like a newer model dont even try anything that isn't a Honda product because new cars are just too spoiled and won't accept things like trans-x properly, i wanted to add some gasoline cleaner to my 05 accord just to treat it but i asked the dealor ship and they said not put any of that kind of stuff into my Honda because it could mess up the car.
