yeah, sounds like you have the same milage i have. it's horrible for an accord. well, i have my tank topped off, lets just see how much i get on a full tank. hopefully around the 300 range. is that what you guys get too?

I have 277k on my 5-speed 90 EX Coupe and I get about 33MPG on the interstate at 75 MPH. I get about 450 miles on a tank.

if you have oil in the intake, you could have a faulty PCV valve that's allowing oil to weep into the intake. this will dirty up the intake pretty severely and will make mileage drop tremendously.

a PCV is about $3 and takes about 30 seconds to change.

that's a crap load of miles for a thank. so which one is it? the pcv valve i need to change or do a engine swap? I don't want to spend much money. Considering it takes only 30 seconds to do the PCV change, where is it located?

thanks

my accord before rebuild was like 21/26, and i found out i had a few bent vlaves :rick: along with a head gasket. so after rebuild ive been pushing her a tad bit but my last gas milage was 23/28 so it did improve!

287,000+ miles here on a 93. Still get 25 mpg in the city, close to 30 on the highway trips to FL. Drinks oil though... about a quart every month to two months, maybe a little less. But it runs great.

Mine has 170K miles. I religously get 29-31 MPG. Most of my driving is highway but even around town I don't get less than 28.
