suspension question from the UK
Hi all
I am new to this forum, and I have got a 99 accord coupe 2.0 which is great, i will put some pics up when I clean it next, but the problem is being from the UK I cant get hold of many bits for this car. I am thinking about lowering it but the only parts I can seem to find is:
Eibach Pro line springs
KYB AGX Shocks
I know the Eibach springs are good, but has anyone used the AGX shocks? are they any good? Also my wheels stick out of the archs slightly, I already get rubbage under a full load over bumps and dips, will the uprated shocks with lowered springs make this worse?

KYB makes reliable, good shocks. they wont dissapoint you.
if you do the drop w/ that setup, you'll probably rub if you have more than 2 people in the car and definitely if you go over a speed bump. it may be just me, but im not into those rims/tires. if you have the $$, try switchin those up too. thats just my opinion.
and welcome to HAN.

Hi Han
Thanks for the reply
,
that has really put a downer on the Springs/shocks Idea, cant really afford to have loads of rubbing, plus loads of bumps and pot holes in the uk, do you have the same problem in the usa?
The wheels have only jus gone on, I thought they suited the car, but everyone has different tastes, what wheels have you got on yours? I have 225/40/18, and was so hoping the stiffened and lowered susspension wouldn't rub too much! but tis better to know and spend the money elsewhere I guess
Thanks for the reply

i have OEM 16"s for now. hopefully i'll get the OEM 17" silverstar wheels by the end of the year. but yeah, even if you have your car lowered on stiffer springs/shocks, bumps are still goin to cause them to rub if they stick out that much.
oh, and by the way, my names not han.
