Default 40 Offset? Anyone running these?

I got rims today, and the guy told me these fit on my 5th Gen Accord. 17x7 with 114.3 and 40 offset. Just wondering if I will encounter problems, as in the wheel sticking out and such.

I have a 2 1/4 inch drop. I want to find out before I get tires.

Thanks

they'll be pretty flushed w/ the side of your car. i'm not encountering any fender rubbing issues on my 4th gen but 5th gen might be a little different.

Hopefully...i'm afraid that these will stick out. I'm still stuck and don't know what to do, until someone who has a 5th Gen with 40+ offset tells me how it is. Then I will go purchase tires.

But one question what tire size are you running? USC

i had 215/45-17 on 17x7 +40 rims on my accord. they sat pretty flush with the fenders. i have corrected camber, both fr and rr, and i dont think i ever rubbed. btw, i was running gc's on agx's, with about a 1 finger gap in front, 2 in back.
