What year is your accord? I'm asking becuase if its older than a 6th gen i'd save some more and get a swap. The exterior stuff gets really old fast, rims get boring and old fast in a year or two you'll see some other rims you'd rather have and get sick of seeign your rims but i guess it depends on what you want.

what yr accord u got?
save up a lil more and get a motor swap...?

ive prolly spent around 2-3k on my ride so far. and i ve got all that u listed. ive got a xenon urethane full front bumper and buddy club rear. aem SR and a generic CAI, dc cc 4-2-1 header, apexi ws catback, ngk colder plugs n wires. NX wet n2o kit w/ bottle warmer, bottle opener, purge kit, some guages, neuspeed sport springs dropped on tokico blues, jvc head unit w/ a kicker 10' sub and kenwood amp, and countless other little things...

i didnt go all out on the system but it bumps good, couldnt afford a motor swap, so got performance parts gradually. alot of sh*t i got mad deals on or found local people selling them used and in good shape. what can i say..."i'm just ballin on a budget broke!"

next up is msd 6digital ignition... no wheels for a while cuz its just too much for a single purchage, still likin my gunmetal EX 7 spoke wheels anyways.

The reason i said a swap is because all the money i spent for my car to look good i could have been had the swap complete if i was patient. It all has to do with patience. If you can wait a little longer you can have what you will want in the long run more speed. I'd rather have a decent engine H22, Turbo, Something and look stock than have all these exterior stuff and minor pointless mods like I/H/E. Once you have your swap finished then i would worry about how it looks. I did it the other way and i got so tired of everybody wanting to race and asking whats under the hood and having nothing there but some weak ass I/h/e set up to show. Once again its up to you but in the long run what will last the longest is the engine.

i feel what ur sayign Bay Accord, having an H22 would be very very nice. but what last longest is the engine u said? im kinda confused, im not flaming, just clarify for me. cuz u mentioned in one sentence, H22, turbo... well, i dunno, turbo doesnt make ur engine run longer im thinking. i kno, there are turbo's u can use for everyday driving, but come now, there are ALMOST NO ONE, who has a turbo, without some MAJOR problems. now i went all looks, 18' Racing Hart C5 3 piece wheels, pirelli p7000 low profile tires, and let me tell u, i get plenty looks from people, with my subtle kit, its like a benz CLK 430 look, i kno, im reaching. now, i have an accord, i never wanted speed so much, if i did, i would have gotten the eclipse GSX or GST, which i considered or a rebuilt engine used TT RX-7 for about the 21 K i spent, got the 1998 accord 2 dr right when it came out. i wanted a daily driver, with some very nice looks. now, if this guy is considering a system or body kit, and rims, he only knows the real answer. dont ask people man, get what u want more. my friend went for a sick system at first, tv, dvd, subs, amps etc.. and he was satisfied at first, he claimed, he did things for his own pleasure, funny thing is. people are vain and hypocrites, in 1 month when he got no looks, and i did with the rest of my friends, he suddenly got the 18 RH C2 evo wheels, WingsWest kit, and Apexi WS coilovers, half and half clear tails on his 1998 accord 4 dr... LOL, he sure lasted long. i dont care for systems, but dont get me wrong, i love music, and dancing. but i like the looks of a car more, like leather interior, nice subtle body kit like WW or OEM.. some sick wheels... one thing i never understood, is how some show car accords, have turbos, but such sorry wheels. dont u see all supras and Rx-7s have advans, volks, racing hart, andrew racing wheels, work wheels, abflugs etcs...i have a friend who has an automatic 1999 prelude, he said he has no problems with his car, "ummm, no". we all make fun of him behind his back. his tranny is about to blow, he bought another H22, cuz he thought something was wrong with his, but guess what, some1 i kno who bought his H22 from him, said its running fine. he spend 5-6 G's just making the turbo run(including getting another H22A4) when u get a turbo, things always go wrong. boosting problems, thing leaking, O2 sensors going wack. i had another friend, 1998 prelude, he had a custom turbo, this one was stick. bayaccord, just how u liked it, yea, it looked awesome, slammed, with custom leather, (no other exterior mods, but it was clean image, slammed with a turbo with a loud exhaust, seems like a perfect honda) and guess what? his car was TRASH!!! a turbo, with all that intercooler and big stuff, he claimed he ran high 12 seconds. guess what? he sold his car 2 months after getting the turbo, it screwed up his car, it seemed like his car was slower than stock, like mid 15s, his car wasnt boosting properly, and his VTEC was messed up i think. and he was a slow driver, he NEVER pushed his cars, he just like always having the best. he eventually bought an Rx-7 for 30 K, which was beyond sick, he had a 12 gallon fuel cell, with a greddy T-88 turbo, with 20 Gs in exterior mods. go get a better car, and keep the accord as a daily driver, i think getting an engine swap is fine, but turbo... i think changing ur cams, pulleys, headers, NOS even, all that stuff, i've seen people have their cars for years, and there straight. but turbos, i have only seen disaster, i dont care if u install professional, i have so many friends have problems, get a car that had a turbo to begin with like an eclipse(GST, GSX), A4, S4, whatever, god, get an S2k, which doesnt even have a stock turbo, something that can handle extreme craP.

moral to my long opinion/story, go looks(i would go suspension, kit and wheels, not system, cuz i admit, im vain, system may be better for personal enjoyment), and if u go speed, get an engine swap, with all the goodies, headers, cams, pulleys, NOS... but turbo... beware is all i have to say. i have so many personal experiences with friends, i just laugh cuz they have so many problems, cuz my car looks good, and runs like a BMW 3 series, so smooth, and their cars run like crap, but i do envy their intercooler, LOL. for the 1 min u can show off ur turbo when opening the hood, just aint worth the hours each day u worry ur car is gonna break down.
