i was replacing my distributor rotor, and i was tightening it when the screw snapped off... i kept tightening it cos the rotor was still very wobbly (still moves a lot)... anyways, wat can i do now??the rotor won't come off cos there's still some piece of the screw preventing it from going out... pls help!

so, do i have to replace the whole alternator then??

alternator?
You can crack/buzz the rotor off (plastic part), get a very long and thin drill bit and remove the remaining screw.

not the alternator... it's the part covered by the distributor cap... i think it's the ignition coil... well, i got the rotor out, but now the remainder of the broken screw is still in this long rod (which can't be taken out, cos i'm not sure how to).... if i drill out everything, wouldn't that mean tht i have no thread left? how am i supposed to screw in another screw with no thread?
