I agree with DUNK, Hondas were used to be economy cars and now they are pricey. It probably because of the reputation they've earned in the past 10 years when civics got so popular among teenagers and ricers.
people used buy to civics for economy and now they are luxury.

saying that civics are luxury is laughable. they are still economy cars. invoice on a 4dr auto lx is less than 16k.

and that is what i based my statement off of as far as resale value in the US, bc toyota fleets the hell out of the camry in the US

Let's face it, everything is too expensive these days!

I got my '06 EX-V6 with NAV, spoiler, wheel well trim, dor edge guards, for $27,500.

well, what i think is compare the accord and the camry ( same class) the accord is much more nicer in look and power response. compare to Avalon,, Oh... come on, isn't Avalon is made for your grandma?

inflation and brand repositioning.... honda's trying to reposition the accord and civics to the next level (meaning tht civics would take over the accord's current market, etc).... and then, they bring in the FIT to compete with the Scion xA's and xB's..... tht's wat i can see from a marketing perspective

I had a Camry to drive in FL on vacation. My wife and I agreed it wasn't as nice a ride, and not as good of a fit and finish on the interior either.
