painting bumper trim?

Default painting bumper trim?

alright, i'm pretty new to autobody stuff, but i have one question about that black plastic trim on the bottom of the bumpers on my 94 accord ex. the black if fading quite a bit, and i decided i want to paint them... i actually want to make them the same color as the rest of the car (frost white), but is there any special way to do this... any primer or whatnot? theres a pic of the car in my sig. thanks

Where is the sig and what picture.... just kidding.
If you are un-experienced with paint, dont bother cause you will mess it up. Either practice on a few things and try to do it or get it done.

yea kinda new cant get the sig to work dammit... o well heres a pic here... and i'm pretty good with applying paint, i was just wonderin if i needed primer or somethin (i have no clue about painting plastic)

Painting plastic is like painting everything else. You need to prime the surface first, Paint, clear coat after couple of days, wet sand, rubbing compund and wax after couple days. Should be perfect in a week.

masking tape, newspaper, some sand paper, primer and paint... although it would probably take you the same amount of time to put the masking tape and cover the front end good, as it would take to just remove the trim.
I painted mine the first time when I had to remove my bumper to install my headlights, and I pulled it off the bumper. Then a second time just a touch up I used a piece of cardboard to cover the bumper while I sprayed it.

sorta off topic but where did u get that deflector thing on your hood. i need something like that!

you can get those at any auto store... they just gotta order it for your car... but it does look pretty friggen cool on my accord
