Suspension, yes yes yes.

What more do you want?
And still doing mid 15s in the 1/4 mile.

I had the same problem. TSX or Accord. TSX gets the looks and handling. But not worth the money.

PS: Not directed at you MrChad but he car itself.

Here's the solution:

Get an Accord EX V6 6 speed with the HFP (Honda Factory Performance) suspension kit (lowered springs, better struts).

The HFP kit is about $1700.00 installed. You'd then have a car with power and handling that would blow away the TSX.

Not to mention, when you get to the EX level Accords, you really are at entry level luxury. Features wise, the Accord is missing the 3 position drivers memory, power passenger seat (on coupe - sedans do have a power passenger seat), auto dimming rear view mirror (available as an accessory, though), and Xenon gas HID head lamps. If those aren't that important features to you, the Accord V6 and TSX may be a wash.

Anyway i cant even say much on the issue as i want becaus i have an 03 accord SiR-T which the TSX resembles but performance and suspension wise does not come close even tho they are almost the same car but Not. Even if i hadn't upgraded the Engine in my SiR-T to 6cy the factory 238 HP 4 would smoke yur Accord V6, simply put, the car is lighter, more agile and nimble, the american accord V6 is a JDM Honda Ceferio made left hand drive and fitted with all kinds of electronics americans feel they need and about 500-600 more pounds. The American honda Accord.

Default Id take the Accord V6

Id take the Accord V6 With the 6 speed, the 6 speed in the Accord V6 is not as slick as that of the american TSX but its being coupled to the V6 helps that downside. the styling is nice and crisp altho the TSX is more of a luxry looker witha nice reving 4cyl, but wut do yu expec from being on the Acura Lineup, its spossed to be based on Luxury and then performance, the Accord Coupe is nice to look at especially the rear lights since they are Acura CL Type S remanesant, the front is nice but the headlamos should hab not been so sharp. If i had to buy, even tho i am a 4dr guy i would take the Accord V6 Coupe with 6MT

Thanks boys but I need an automatic although I drive manuals which is why the Jetta GLI with the DSG tranny is intriguing for me. Edmunds picked the GLI over the TSX in a comparo. Long term ownership (which is me-I hold onto cars forever) it is hard to beat a Honda. An Accord with a performance handling package is interesting.

I gotta get out there and do some test drives....

Default Then id go wiff the Jetta

Yeah id take the Jette Hands down than, It offers the fit and finish of the Acura. Plus some other goodies. Like sweet lookin gauges, altho the Accord has nice ones this year. Also i like 4 doors. But the VW has a real slick DSG tranny hands down. If im not mistaken that model Jetta has the seat coolers as well as heaters. Anyway its a nice car. Id take it over the Accord.

It seems that there is the group that likes pure speed, and a group that prefers handling. If you just want all out straight line speed get the accord V6, its a great ride. If you want a car that tears it up in the twisties get the TSX. Both cars look great, have great features, and have great honda reliability. Personally I'd get the TSX, I'll sacrafice a little power for better handling. I love the looks, its got enough get up and go, and the aftermarket has plenty of parts avaliable for the car so you could make it a little faster, and handle even better.
