it seems through your opinions i can gather TSX is the luxery car while the V6 is the performance car. it appeals both are fun to drive, and i guess taste is the only matter here on out. thank you guys very much!

i do not understand why people say the EX v6 accord is not as luxurious as the TSX. They both have almost identical features, but the accord is more spacious, sedan that is. I would think that the tsx would perform better due the weight and suspension of the car. the accord v6 is just faster going by 0-60 time and quarter mile times.

The performance car is definately the TSX. We drove Accords and TSX back to back when shopping. The chassis of the TSX is simply brilliant. The steering responce is simply a joy, even driving to McDonalds will put a smile on your face. The Accord is numb by comparison.

And my favorite TSX feature isn't found on the Accord, HID's standard. Add to the list the sport-shift tranny if you need to buy an Auto and the TSX becomes a slam dunk.

Yeah numbers are great (Altima has great numbers too) and drive the two. The 6 is big and full of grunt, yep the 0-60 time is great, but it also wears the same brakes and chassis as the TSX. This doesn't make for a great late braker and the nose tends to really push in the corners. The turn in on the TSX is more spot on.

You find a nice twisty road the TSX, while more underpowered vs. the 6, is less a handful you can ride the car harder and not feel like you are beating it up so much.

Yes, I've driven them all. For my money the TSX was the more balanced machine. And the TSX was full of little touches the Accord just didn't have. Ours spends 90% of its time stuck in Chicago grid lock, and even then it's a great place to spend time.

Both cars made the 10 best list the last 3 years running, there is a reason for this. But go and drive them back to back, you can make your own conclusion on which is the better sport sedan.

FWIW, I prefer the Accord coupe's look over the TSX. Eye of the beholder I guess. Also, i'm not really into the luxury brand names.... So a combination of my personality, and the Accord's, tips the scale in the Accord's favour.

The reason I own the accord because I cant afford the TSX at the time. Now, it's just too late to make the swith since I invest so much $$$ in my accord.

Looking at a 4 door new car in the $26K range. Candidates are Accord Ex V-6, TSX, Volkswagen Passat 2.0 and possibly the Audi a3. Need an auto for the wife, though DSG on Audi is interesting. Chipping is also an option on the turbo cars, but as a past Accord owner I've been spoiled by Honda reliability.

Does anyone have a 0-60 time on the auto TSX? C&D says 0-60 for Accord in latest issue but never seen one on the auto TSX.

Thanks!

If the A5 4-cyl Accord scores an 8.3 second 0-60 time, then I would assume that the A5 TSX is somewhere in the 7.7-7.9 range.

And although I like the Passat and Audi, you'll probably get more for your $$ from Honda. The Passat can get pretty pricey when you start adding options that you can get standard on both the Accord and TSX.

As for luxury... the TSX and Accord have similar interiors... though the TSX has higher quality leather and a few nicer details/features.

Performance wise, The TSX is more nimble than the Accord.

Default well every1 does not have the option of EBAY

As the proud owner od a 01 Accord SiR-T and 03 SiR-T Tureno i dont think they are slow, the suspension handling also are superb and not the same as the TL Type S(01-03.9) or the defunked JDM honda Accord Posser the TSX. The performance and handling , well handling, surpases by a far margine the 03 up Accord SiR-T(Accord Euro R get same suspension as american Acura TSX) as the 98-02 Accord Type R and SiR-T and Euro R (99-04 TL) Altho we are speakng of asian market versus american market Honda's. The 03 Honda Accord SiR-T( made limitedlly for 03 to beggining 04) had a 238 Hp 4cyl K24A (the Euro R carries a K20A) and met the markings as for of performance as the EX V6, the SiR-T was offered also with a syncromesh semi hellical 1-4 gears and hellical 5-6 6 speed tranny making it as quick as the bigger and heavier accord V6 coupe and sedan Based and on the Honda Ceferio (Honda did not want to go thru another spell like 98-02) with the "we want to design a car that apeals more to americans crap" and mainlly renamed their Cefirio the Accord and sent it to AMERICA, lol. Anyway while i ( as showed in previous post and pics shown there)decided to shoe a C32B into my 03 Accord SiR-T Tureno is up to me. Besides i liek 6 zylinders insted of 4 more
