This piece was in my cylinder head under the valve cover kinda just floating there when I took the head off. What does it go to??? any ideas?

I don't know how it would get there, but it looks like the center part of a Honda pcv valve. It's plastic?
I broke a Civic valve removing it and it had a blue piece that looked like that.

Yeah, it is plastic...you can tell that it has been oil stained, so it has been exposed to oil for my 205,000 miles. Anyway, I will check the PCV valve...my only other guess was that is was a oil pressure stop of some sort to allow and stop oil flow... but I dont know what on these cars would do that where I found this piece.

Thanks for the reply.

I ran out and checked the PCV valve, and the only thing inside of it was the spring, so I guess you were right. This piece came from my PCV valve.

Now all I have to do is rebuild the auto tranny on this beast and get it back on the road.

Thanks man.
