Hmmm, looks interesting. Never heard of RMF. I'll have to check into them since there are apparently 'godly' headers. btw, great looker!

2point6 those header(s) are sick, equal length is the only way to go on an NA motor. I also have never heard of RMF but I have heard of SMSP and AN-R headers which are a simalar to RMF's design.

For the haters on this thread that think DC header are the shit, if you are to lazy to do some research on the web then check out any of the import mags that do header test. Tell me why DC always seems to be at the bottom of the HP and TQ gains vs other headers?

I used to run a SMSP header. Good quality... expensive also. I feel the RMF has advantages the SMSP did not. RMF has 4-1, is a 4-2-1... the RMF has a "megaphone" built into it which helps scavenging. My RMF is custom though and is built to my RPM needs. TQ comes on earlier than the SMSP. I will have the dynoes posted real soon.

BTW, RMF= Randy monroe and AN-R (which is no longer around) was Andrew N Randy (monroe)

2.6 hhmmm I think I recall your 4th gen in a back issue of one of my mags from a while ago.....I think I remember the two-tone paint and lack of a rice-E wing, shame on you for no wing
Over reving the altenator has been an issue for me. I also was running a very small battery that required running the alt all the time to keep it charged. Since this header was put on the car, I also switched back to a larger battery requiring less demand on the alt. No problems so far...

What can I say about the wing.... lol.

So basically he has more than enough proof right there without having to lift a finger to respond to you.
Thank you for the back up. Always nice to hear from you nightshade.

keep it safe.
Thankyou for the compliment. I don't have the wrong impression of this site... just a few members in this forum. Things are getting cleared up anyway. People are real quick to judge me because I appear as a newbie since I don't post here that often.

As far as being faster, I never really intended it to go as fast As I have with this car. Turbo and Nitrous would be fun, but too easy in my book. I hope to have this car in the 11's next month.
