I can post the dynoes, but it seems there would be little comprehension of them...

Better off selling that piece and get yourself a dc header.

You guys are idiots.

I want to be nice, but that's the best way I can put it. Well, ok, how about this:

You guys seem like idiots.

Do some research. Read more. Discover things. I can't beleive the accord owners here, it's almost a joke. I don't have this header, but it's know that RMF headers (for the h22 at least) are basically top of the line. This guy knows his stuff and means no harm, but it's hard not to correct people or get frustrated at these posts. My goodness.

Given, I didn't know much about the RMF header before I saw it, and actually thought it was a turbo exhaust manifold at first. But at least ask questions and figure it out. Come on, he's running 250 whp and 12.7 in the quater mile, he must know what he's talking about

I mean no harm either, but ignorance is one thing that gets me mad. Empty opinions piss me off. Good luck, whoever is after performance in this forum.

Like I said earlier, I didn't come here to fight with anyone, nor did I say these were the best header in the world... I simply posted a couple pictures of my new header. It was the really knowledgeable members here who decided that the headers weren't any good. Obviously, they have their own reasons why these headers don't work as good as the DC's. I am still willing to hear their explanations as it seems I am a minority here. Please educate me as I am interested in anything that I can benifit from. Maybe you members clowning these headers have some facts I don't know about. Would you be kind enough to explain to me the reasons for your educated comments? Thanks in advance.

i say dont post up the dyno plots for these boobs. im pretty sure more than half the accord owners on this forum know nothing about power.

bad for the producer but i guess better for the collector. =s.

better off for resale for those who can get a hold of them later on.

So will you critics please edjucate me a little? I would really like to know if you have information that I do not have. I am always trying to make my set-up faster and more power yeilding, so any factual advice is appreciated. Why would you suggest a DC header? Is it the design... cost... availibility? What about a different header make or type? I have tried a few myself over the years but maybe I am going in the wrong direction. Please clarify.

All I can say is almost everyone who replied in this thread is JUST PLAIN STUPID! A few examples:

I must say I have had a good laugh reading this thread though. "DC is better than RMF" Oh my god, you really need to do some research. +20whp is totally achievable with that header BTW. "2point6" great setup you have there, too bad most are too blind to see.

Whats up 2point6 long time no see...good to hear that monster of yours is still up and running strong Mine is collecting a bit of dust

Anyways that RMF header is sick and the cost is more than worth it, especially with the build you have in your ride.

I run DCs header (for those on DCs dick about things) and they suck ass....plain and simple. The welds are fair (though the lower bracket broke the first day it was on). Yeah it helps the car breathe easier but the bends are far from optimal and I really don't think I will ever be recommending them to anyone unless it is an availability or cost issue.

So anyways yeah...DC over RMF?? I really don't think they are even anywhere near the same league or calibre.

If you have a hookup on these headers let a brotha know, I need to dust mine off and put her back on the street/strip soon.

I really think those headers are fantastic looking, I would assume you need the long runners for the torq off the line, given that well you are a nice meaty stroker :P I think they look great, I'm not sure why folks are dissing them, I guess they only like show crome?

I agree with the weld comment, those welds are so smooth. Very nice looking unit if you ask me. I'd love to see your Dyno numbers as a whole for the setup it looks really trick.

As for DC headers? Well AEM's CAI that I'm running leaves much to be desired in my book for fit and finish so on that note I'll pass on their Carbon steel, quasi ceramic coat headers. RMF make a header for the F23A1? I speculate (and this is just me) that most DC headers have useful life of 3-4yrs before they crack at the flange. This may be good for others, but not me.

My other question is, did the heat from the header cook the alt?

2.6 hhmmm I think I recall your 4th gen in a back issue of one of my mags from a while ago.....I think I remember the two-tone paint and lack of a rice-E wing, shame on you for no wing

Ignorance is believing every thing you hear. Sounds like a typical sales pich to me. Ever heard of PHYSICS or the movement of a column of air? Those bends slow down the air flow and you would be stupid, not just ignorant for believing this guys header can make more power than the DC. They were the 1st real header manufacturer and they kept their design after all these years for a reason. It works on every car it is put on. I don't know about your supposed 250whp cough get real cough h22, I would like to see proof of that alone. Why are you afraid to post up a dyno page even after you have been asked? I am sure if you used a header with less bends you would prbably make 275 hp haha on your setup. Try it and see and post up a real dyno with proof. Good luck.
