Default all tyc projector owners!

I have an '01 accord sedan. Before i purchase the tyc projectors, I hear that they take h1 bulbs for low beam. do h1's even fit in the bulb sockets? if not, what needs to be done? also, what bulbs do the tyc's take for high beam? thanks for the help.

this is true. I had the in my 96 (although these used an H3) they were friggin horrible when it comes to output. I think the H1s would look a bit better. I had them in my highs. Anyways I hated my projectors so much I took em out. They were always off and on and never worked well. Maybe you will have more luck. The H1s will be stronger. They plug right into your existing harness and the bulb connects to the socket in the projectore seperately. You can always try to retro in the 9006 bulbs into the projector socket. Ive seen it done.

ALL TYC projector headlights use H1 bulbs, low AND high... never H3 or 9005.

The lights come with short pigtails that will plug into the cars stock connectors, no cutting or splicing needs to be done.

TYC headlights have OK output... much better than other "projector" headlights that use H3 bulbs, but they still suck compared to stock headlights.

Putting any different bulb in the lights would not be a good idea, the "focal point" of each bulb is different and you would be doing more harm than good.

Actually the TYC's on my 94 Accord use 9005 for the high beam.

To solve factory headlight problems:

Step 1: Smash headlights with the ol' Louisville Slugger
Step 2: Tape flashlights to the hood with 100MPH tape.

Let the GOOD TIMES ROLL!!

TYCs for the 6th gen accords take H1 bulbs...and yes, output is crappywith halogens... get HIDs with them, but u have to drill out the socket to get the bulb to fit inside the projector
