Default Spare parts - where?

Hi,

I need two spare parts but I don't want to pay dealer prices.

1st part is spare tire (wheel and tire) for 2005 CRV LX 4x4 Auto (mine got stolen). Dealer wants 200 for the wheel and $100 for the tire.

2nd is OEM brake pads for 2005 ACCORD (for front disk brakes)

Any help (especially with CRV spare) would be great I tried junkyurd web-sites and no luck.

Look on ebay...I got front OEM pads for my Accord for $35 shipped once.

For the spare...ebay, salvage yards, etc. Ebay would be the cheapest, but I doubt that's an item that shows up on ebay much.

Hi Jschmid,

Yeah, that spare CRV tire is killing me - so to speak. I can't fork out $300 for it now (or rather do not want to) but the back of CRV looks like crap without the spare wheel.

Damn Bronx....(that's where it was stollen in the broad daylight)....

Yeah, sucks...that's probably a hard item to get a really good deal on.

I guess if worse comes to worse in this matter I will make the local dealer happy and buy it from them (it hurts just to say that).

Its my wife's car and it is not even a year old. I just want to keep it in the condition it was when it was new.

And yes, I should have had wheel locks - but I didn't, so now it is besides the point. I will install them on the next spare though.
