Default Low Beam Bulbs on 05 Accord

Hi,

I have 05 Accord LX Sedan Auto 4cyl.

I like the low beam headlights but I feel that output with stock bulbs does not provide satisfactory visibility.

I understand that there are HID conversion kits ($600 bucks?) and I do NOT want to go that way.

I have 2 questions please:

My first question is - are there any other bulbs (low beam) that would fit in my 05 Accord LX, that would improve visibility, and that would NOT create a problem within the car's electrical system/wiring (i.e. draw more or less power then they are suppose to etc.)

My car does not have DRL (daytime running lights). How $$$ would be to install them (and would it be possible?)

Thx

sylvania silverstar are the best bulbs for a good price and no other bulb type except 9006 will fit in your car. For the DRL, there was a thread not too long ago so just search for it.

So silverstars are better then stock bulbs? Will they affect car's electrical system (i.e. draw more power then planned by the Honda etc).?

They are brighter and they will not draw more power than stock. Always buy 55W bulb for your headlight. Sylvania Silverstar are more brighter, whiter looking than your stock bulbs and long lasting too.
