I dont know if you want to do that but that alot of work. You have to buy new harness with switches. 9005 is a high beam bulb and I think it is 85W but not so sure. 9005 bulb will not fit in the car's connector cuase it is for a 9006 bulb plus 9005 bulb draws more power so you will have to change the harness as well.
try the Sylvannia first and if you are still not satisfied let us know and I will explain the conversion process

or you could just burn off a little of the plastic inside the 9005 bulb with a hot knife. Its not that hard and alot of people have it here. I think e3nine does(cant remember).

9005 is 65 Watts compared to 55, so it wont hurt the oem wiring.

ill post the link after a search

^^ no you wouldnt have to aim them or adjust the lights and you dont even need new harness since its only 10W increase.
thanks again JaniVI, that was informative.

Except for the connector theres nothing physically different between the two bulbs. The tip is unpainted, but it doesn not cause any glare since it it covered by the chrome reflector thingy in the middle of the headlight. If you still need to level, there are two screws near the bulb opening that independently raise/lower the unit and shift left/right.

The first step in making sure you're getting the best light output from your stock lights is Adjusting the lights... aim them to YOUR liking, not what the factory set them at. You'll be quite suprised at the difference it can make.

As for the best bulbs, HIR comes to mind (halogen infrared reflector, or something like that) They are normal halogen bulbs, run at stock wattage, but have small reflective particles in the glass that increace their output by about 70%. They arent too cheap ($30 each) but the improvement is well worth it. They also last as long as if not longer than OEM bulbs (any "coated" bulb, even Silverstars do NOT last anywhere near as long as stock). Search ebay for "9012 bulbs", there is a seller that always has them.

If i remember right, the person selling the bulbs on ebay said there is a slight modification to the bulbs that is needed, but he/she does this for you before mailing them. Its been a while since I read the auction.

I would read through it to be sure, or ask the seller.
