Question on De-badging
I was in the process of de-badging my accord. The accord letters came off without any problems. I used dental floss. The V6 emblem was kinda hard. I stopped after trying for about 2 minutes, didn't want to damage anything. Just wondering if the V6 emblem is stuck on or is it riveted on. If I pull it out, is there going to be couple of holes staring at me? Has anyone pulled the V6 emblem out.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Any idea how to remove the adhesive that's left when the emblems are removed?
I ask because I want to put mine back on but I need to remove the adhesive first, especially since I want to put the red V6 emblem my girlfriend painted for me. Please let me know.

To all interested:
If you have trouble removing them, shoot some WD-40 aroung the emblem.
No, it won't hurt the paint, clearcoat or anything else. If you have some paint thinner (Mineral Spirits), you can use that also. WD-40 is basically mineral spirits.
I didn't say use Liquid Wrench, brake clean, etc!!!
After letting it sit for some time (30 minutes, an hour, over night, etc.), prying it off should be much easier. Removal of residue left behind can be accomplished with WD-40 or MS.
If you still have that death grip on that toothpick in the backside after doing this, feel free to wash and wax the area when done. Otherwise, just wipe the area dry with a clean coth.
