fogging problem on diy black housing?

Default fogging problem on diy black housing?

Would there be fogging problems on diy black housing since u'r breaking the seal to paint the covers??

Yes if you didn't seal it very thoroughly with Silicon.

yeah make sure u reseal them with silcone and you should be fine

silicon is said to prevent any liquid from leaking in, and vaporizing inside the head light when the lights are one, and have no plave to evaporize to.

seal it up good at first, you shoulnd't have this problem..
but if you do..
take out the light bulbs and put 3 hair dryers to the bitch.

I don't see why people add silicone. I've done 3 sets now and never had a problem. Didn't remove any factory glue, and when resealing, heat around the junction so the glue is nice and soft so you can completely re-approximate both pieces (pliers work great), you'll have a great seal, and it'll look oem.

Here's the latest set I did, after re-sealing:

on a 97 accord, do u need to take the bumper off to take off the ligh housing?

yes you do.
infact, i havn't seen any headlight that comes off with out taking your bumper off.
