Default High pitched whistle from fan

Has anyone had the problem of getting a high pitched whistle from the heater fan? I'm only running it on 2 or 3 and as you increase the fan speed, the whistle gets louder. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can fix this?

could be a broken fan bearing.

the whistle isn't coming from your interior speakers, is it?

The exact same thing happened to me maybe 2 years ago. I took the blower fan out (very easy), looked at it, shook the crap out of it, greased it up, and it hasn't come back since.

Can you give me some instructions or a link on how to remove it?

Thanks.

Turn it on, figure out where it is, and unscrew it. It's below the glovebox.
