Try a borla or magnaflow universal muffler, or you can try a flowmaster axle-back exhaust.

Skip the exhaust leave it stock and install a cold Air intake or short ram...you will find the results much more to your liking....much better grumble IMO.

I have a K&N typhoon CAI. The SRI setup was too loud but when I changed it to CAI with the Bypass valve, its sound decent but I realy dont like the sound of it.
I dont want the whole exhaust system, just a muffler with a nice sporty sound.
Is megnaflow too loud or sounds nice and I've heard that the apexi exhaust gives the best sound but just the muffler will give the same sound.
Thanks for the help.

I have a Magnaflow Street Series dual tip oval muffler on my Galant, it is LOUD as heck, but it's not ricer high pitched, it's low and deep loud. Even though it sounds nice having the rumble, it's way loud and I hate it.

My Honda has a Ractive round carbon fiber wrapped muffler, it's more quiet, but it's high pitched. But, when I do gun the Honda the sound from the intake evens out the sound a little.

Hey shonnv, I just bought an apexi ws2 for my 6th gen accord, I gotta say, it's sweet. I used to have the Greddy Evo it was too deep. I did a lot of research and finally bought the apexi ws2. I spent $ on the exhaust twice so think twice before you buy your exhaust.

The apexi looks very good, has good clearance, and sounds just great. It's a little louder than stock, and has a low grumble sound, like a nissan z or g35 coupe. It does not gain any HP but it makes you feel like your car has more power. PS: when the catback is brandnew, it sounds very quiet, very close to stock. After two weeks, it's broken in and the sound is louder and deeper. I have some pics but I left my camera at work. I'll try to post them tomorrow.

hmm... does anyone have dynos on the ws2? I understand it would regain the low end power because of the pipe size, but does anyone know if it makes any change at all in HP over stock? Joker, do you have straight pipe, or are you required to run with a cat?
