I already posted the tranny, the cat I told you there's no way around it. Either buy a new one or don't, either way you probably can't put it in yourself unless you're experienced with exhausts.

Default Did you ever fixed the Catalyst Converter problem

Hi Henry,

Were you able to fix the Catalyst Converter probelm with your 99 Odessey? Ours us having the same problem - engine light stays on - and the dealer told us it will cost $2000 to get the catalyst converter fixed. I saw an earlier posting saying the part only costs about $125. Did yu buy a part?

Best Regards,
Ponderwing

I sure that the $125 price is for an aftermarket catalytic converter, which usually ends up being a waste of time. The list price for the factory catalytic converter is about $607.

aftermarket convertors are a waste of time buy a honda one 6 14mm nuts 3 in front 3 in rear the 2nd press. sw. is on top of the tranny at the back black connector might have to remove eng. shroud so u can get a good look at it 22mm just unscrews get a new sealing washer to for it
