Just wondering but how do you know what gen. accord you have? I have a 2001 Accord Coupe V6 VTech 3.0.

You have VTEC, not Vtech. Vtech makes midrange priced phones and in my experience are fairly unreliable.

No, you have 6th. All of the generations are listed in the link I posted.

 

Honda Accord (1st generation) was introduced in 1976... as a hatchback.
Sedan came out in 1979 (as still a 1st gen)

2nd gen - 1982-1985.

3rd gen - 1986-1989 (Accord coupe was introduced in 1988)

4th gen - 1990-1993 (first year for the wagon - 1990)

5th gen - 1994-1997 (last year for the wagon -1997)

6th gen - 1998-2002

7th gen - 2003-

 

I wanted to post but shonnv here already did it so, hehee, anyway, has the 8th gen come out yet? Do you have any pictures of the 8th? I saw the new civic, love the coupe si (lots of hp for a small car)
