Default Starting Problem on 98 Accord

My 1998 Accord EX V6 is having problems starting on sunny days. Sometimes it'll start. Sometimes it'll try to start for a second and then die. Feels like its not getting fuel. It'll just crank and not start the engine after that. I would have to wait a while before it'll start. In the morning, it starts up fine. Looking through some of the threads and FAQ, it sounds like a problem with the Main Fuel PGM-FI Relay. Has anyone experienced this problem on their Accord? If its the Main Fuel PGM-FI Relay, can I get one of those from any car part shop or only from Honda? Oh, I also received a P0578 error code when I plugged in a OBD reader. Not sure if its caused by the bad Main Fuel PGM-FI Relay.

You answered your own question Very common problem, buy one from the dealer. Post the error code in the DTC thread if you want me to look that up.

Yeah, never had any problems during the mornings. I leave for work around 4:30am.

I am looking into getting a replacement part. Does anyone know the part # or can direct me to the link for the part (online)? Is it #10 on this page? http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...IT+%28CABIN%29

I got the same problem with my car (also a 98), and I found this thread from another forum, I went ahead and bought the main relay (you can DIY), and boom, the problem went away for good. Click on the link below

Yes it's number 10, I bought number 11, just in case, I heard people breaking the bracket while replacing the relay, luckily, I didnt break it and still have that brand new bracket sitting around doing nothing
