The above Accord '03 remote-hybrid key works just fine in our '04 TSX. I have a second key being made for the '00 Accord as well.
Okay, well then he can buy the 03 key/remote and then try it. My bet is that it won't work. In fact, I'll bet you lunch for when I come visit that it won't

I'll try it after work, can't see why my new TSX fob won't work on the Accord too?

You're an @$$ and I owe you lunch I think...

I couldn't get the Accord to take the TSX fob even though they are appear the same. Ripped the fobs open and the Accord fob has a ton of guts the TSX fob is almost empty...so they program the same, look the same externally, work the same, but would appear to be different imobilizer systems

Damn, I hate being wrong.

I would have sworn any two fobs that require "on(ii)-->lock/unlock-->off" 4x in a row would have used the same system....

It's Chicago, you'll eat deep dish and like it.

The only way to make the fob smaller is to get and aftermarket setup then.

I thought about it too but I know the 03 has a rolling code transponder chip in it as you cannot use the T5 key on it so for this to work you have to gut a T5 or a 02 key take the transponder chip out and put it into the 03 key as for the remote you have to check the crystal frequency and the code chip and if crystal it's not too hard to swap if you know how to solder surface mount. when I hat my hands on a 03 key will check the frequency with a counter. as it's a neat idea...
