Default Remove "lx" emblew

Hi all, I remove the "lx" emblew by using dryer as most of the people recommened. But, maybe i didn't do it right. I leave a thin layer of those sticky thing on the surface which i couldn't peel off. Any suggesting to clean that area?

Get some "Goo-gone", or WD-40 will also work. Just make sure you don't use anything abrasive, and after using any products clean thoroughly, and wax the area.

I used Goo-gone, worked fine. Got mine at Home Depot.

If you do use goo-gone or WD-40 remember to immediately wash and wax the treated area...that shit probably eats clearcoat like it's nothing.

won't the alcohol destroy your clear coat? :eh: that's like wiping your car with a brillo pad.

No wash it as you would normally wash your car, with a car wash concentrate mixed with water. That shit is going to eat through your wax and then the clearcoat if you let it sit for long enough, that's its job.

I prefer steel wool h: Which is actually a surprisingly handy tool in cleaning chromed and aluminum surfaces (ie exhausts and my Coupe door sills)
