uhhh...i know people are stupid but I dont think they could be this dumb to actually put another car logo on their non-honda.
its like putting a BMW logo on a s2k
They can copy the looks, but not the soul of the Accord.
Don't forget the resale value. And sorry to say itsahonda, the Excel
was a piece of crap(my first new car was an 87 Excel) and most died
before 80K, so your dad's was a rare breed.

It will be another 5-10 years before Hyundai can close the gap with Toyota and Honda, but you have to give them credit for making steady improvements. IMO, they've already managed to catch Ford, Chrysler & GM in terms of overall quality.
I think however, that the new Civic will be a real wake-up call to the compact car segment. Once again, when everyone starts catching up, the Japanesse produce a product that raises the bar another notch. Look for Toyota to release a very impressive Corolla in late '06.

Early 90's Sonata looked alot like an accord as well.
Only those hyundai's were crap. The new ones are getting good reviews and the reliability is way up as well.
I'd still rather have a honda, but if hyundai's keep improving I might actually test drive one.
