Default Any Ideas

Love my 05 Accord LX Auto. However, there is a noise coming from (it appears) where the dash meets the windshield in front of passanger's seat. It is a subtle crackling sound (like two pieces of plastic rubbing against each other, or like it appears that dash is pressed to hard against interior of the car...).

Dealer says its normal (of course dealer thinks wheels falling off is normal).

Two questions:

1. Any ideas how to remedy this (i.e. some sort of spray?)
2. What are my rights - how do I get a Honda dealer to move/pay attention/to change their BS excuse (besides getting the service manager in a neck-lock or throwing him with a Judo move over the counter ?)

Thx

It could be a simple case of a loose clip behind the passenger side A-pillar trim? It's really hard for me to say. Some TSXs had a creaky windshield in the '04 model year many-many different solutions were found to be needed, including reinstallation of the windshield.

I would suggest you simply find a new dealer, since I assume your are under warranty they should fix this not you. It may be normal, but IMO unacceptable.

We had a creak in our TSX, it was the plastic trim on the rear of the rear view mirror, I simply adjusted the trim where it met the headliner, no more noise.
