nagging problems on a 96 accord
i already wrote a thread on my windshield wipers being very jerky and not smooth. that was a long time ago and i forgot to check on that as more urgent repairs were needed. now i have the time to check out some nagging problems. my windshield wipers are very jerky and sometimes when its light rain or dry the wipers wont go all the way to the left. when its wet it seems like it goes too far to the left and off the windshield. i already checked the bolts and they were on tight. i got the car like that and on the left wiper, if you are sitting in the drivers seat, it has a plastic bar or a tab that stops the wiper at the bottom. its just a very annoying problem that i would like fixed. what would i have to do to fix it?
another annoyance with the wiper system is the washer fluid reservoir. when i pour fluid into it seems clogged. the fluid wont flow in but it will slowly seep in. i dont really know what happened there i got the car like that.
and yet another thing i dont like is the spoiler brake light. it blinks several times when i brake and then the blinking stops. is there anything to do to stop the blinking? i cant see it but i think its not attractive.

thanks.

As far as the wipers go, it seems to me as if someone took off the one causing you difficulty, and put it back on too low as the tines are really small and it would be easy to do. The resevoir, maybe a clogged line? Couldn't tell ya, but it's actually a pretty simple system. Just follow the res. to the lines, look for problems. Can't help you with the brakelight, my Accord is a '94, could be a different setup, or you may have a brake light out causing the relay to blink too fast. Screw it, take out the bulb.
