Default exhaust question?

I want to put an exhaust on my accord. I want something with a low grumble. Could you guys give me some different brands that have a low pitch sound?

umm, not that im claiming to be a vet at car modding or anything...

but when you get an exhaust, you look at performance boost, not looks or sound. if you want a low grumble, cut your pipes off at the header, or better yet, stop by autozone and see if theyll put a nice muffler on there for you. if all else fails, by one of those "apexi style" mufflers off of ebay. i bet those sound great.

please dont listen to this garbage.

magnaflow makes a muffler that is low and kinda deep. Its not loud at all.
allows your car to retain that stock look too. for 98-02 accords.

The exhaust I want is for looks and not for performance... so speak for yourself.

For looks only...? I love the Greddy Evo muffler, or something similar. Slanted tips and N1 style mufflers look cheap IMO.

custom 3'' stainless exhaust from header back - $210 with flex pipe, custom hangers (that will never rust) and life time warr. plus it sounds nice and deep with a magnaflow muffler. that is a deal!

^ 3" is way over do for a regular low hp engine. Good for boost. Custom 2.5" mandrel bent and good magnaflow muffler. A 2.5" High flow cat from magnaflow aka car-sound. and a 2.5" collector 4-1 header from Kamikaze.

greddy Evo looks like a ball sack hanging from the bottom of the car.
Dual pair of nuts if its for the V6.
