well i got a question for all those accord owners out there with nice head units. i've been looking thru some of the units for myself but there's too many too look at. so ne suggestions for a head unit below $400 and plays cd/mp3?

sup dude... before ppl flame you for not searching

Here's a thread about 2 headunits that are nice.. Panasonic and ALpine. Both are great HU's with nice RMS power.

I myself have a Blaupunkt San Fran. CD-70. I previously had a pioneer, it's still sitting in my closet.

i have a kenwood cd/mp3 player. i payed $250 for it. i'd definately recommend it.

I was in the same dilemma a couple weeks ago. Same price range as well. (i have the prices posted up)

Check out my thread, everybody seems to have inputs and they together like the alpine for its sound quality. my friend just got it, and from what i've heard, its not bad at all. but i like my pioneer (DEH-P8400mp) and it suits all your requirements too.

i got an aiwa cdc-mp3, for 170 bucks, its tight, sounds great, puts out 45x4....good deal for mp3-cd player

thats a nice thread there Jon...well i have the pioneer premier 840, which looks just like the 8400...it comes with the steering wheel remote...ebay has some great prices on head units...almost half of the retail price...and yea this model kicks ass...great sound quality!!
