I think Hasport is in the process of making the motor mounts for our accords to accept the K series.

eh, not worth the money or headache.

The 6Gen is a tub and the motor really won't move it.

The K24 has boatloads of torque, has strong internals and produces large power gains from simple modifications...I think it'd be pretty damn cool if he could do all the work himself.

I don't think he expects it to be a 14 second car just with the motor (like so many noobs do when they do H22 swaps), but the motor has great potential and IMO is Honda's greatest 4 banger from the factory to date.

True. I've been desensitized over the years of people thinking the H22 is the next coming of Jesus.

I just don't honestly see the point. If he's planning on getting an Evo, why drop another 3K+ on the Accord? The MR already runs $37K (tax, title, destination not included) and will do laps around any engine swap I can think of. I'd honestly take $1000 and maintain the Accord as a daily driver, use the other 2K on Evo goodness.

98 was right, i dont expect a 14 second car. mainly because i don't drag race. the accord was never meant to drag race, and i hate when people buy an automatic accord, throw 25lb 18's on it, full stereo system, then take it out and complain about it being slow...no shit. the reason i'd like to do this to my accord is because it's never been done. on top of that, i just love the 6th gen accord. the new ones are ugly as shit. i love the TSX, but i'm buying an EVO. i just wanna build the best accord that i can. i use the accord for autoX (undefeated in STS bitches), road racing, and generally illegal high speed turns on the street. i know the evo will do laps around the accord, it's supposed to. it's an EVO, that's what they do. but think about the joy of going to the track and whoopin somebody's ass in a 4 door family sedan. they never see it coming. it's funny enough now when i do it in an automatic 4 door family sedan. another plus with the TSX engine is that they make superchargers for it. supercharged K24 in a 6th gen, c'mon now...how could you not like that? i'm not even sure if i'm going to do this yet tho, it's just something i started kicking around the past few days. im going to talk to the guys doing my 5speed swap and get their opinion on what it would take to do the work. i think they'd be able to handle it. they've got like 5 K swapped cars in their garage. maybe more, that's the only ones i saw at HIN tho. so we'll see what happens.
