i saw an acura tl on the freeway today and it had what looked like a oem kit on it. I was wondering if that would fit the 6th gen accord. It looks like it would.

 

why not buy the oem kit for the accord. Im sure it will fit, not without some modification and some $, but if it was a direct bolt on, im sure more people would do it.

how about on a sedan? THe 6th gen 4 door accord doesnt have oem lip kit.

what else would it work on? With some work, you could probably make the TL OEM kit fit, but I dont know if it would be worth the trouble, or how well it fits up on the 6th Gen Sedan.

I highly doubt that it would fit any 5th Gen. If you visit your local Acura dealer, they sell the kit stock with their TLs (varies by dealer)

 

wouldnt the front lip from a 98-00accord coupe fit the 98-00 accord sedan??!! the front bumpers look identical to me.

 

no they wont fit. If you stick a coupe front bumper on your sedan, the hood will no longer fit. You'd have to get a coupe hood.

 

Given all the trouble that it causes, you can probably look through the many aftermarket kits and find something that looks very similar.

 

if the coupe lip would fit then i would have done it already...take a closer look, there are a couple small differences in size and shape. easiest difference to see is the grill

 

yeah the upper part of the bumper is different...but the BOTTOM part where the lip would attach to looks identical...thats why i thought it didnt matter if it was just for the front lip..... oh well. just my guess, i dont have an accord anyway
