Default TL/CL Type-S springs and struts?

I know the Tl/CL type-s has better sway bars and stock strut bar that are drop in compatible with the accord, but does anyone know about the springs and struts? The type-s is supposed to be better handling so I was wondering is switching out the accord struts and springs for the type-s parts would help handling as well. Thanks.

I have them and it helps, but I only bought them for longevity (I've heard of good aftermarket shocks leaking after 5 or 10k miles, I drive 35k a year) and because I got them much cheaper than I could have gotten AV6 struts for. The ride is stiffer and handling a bit improved, but nothing amazing. If you want handling, stay away from OEM and go with high quality aftermarket coilovers such as KYB, Eibach, etc.

Ok, so struts work. Is their an advantage or do they have the same dampening as the stock ones that are on their now? Does anyone have the specs for the springs? Maybe the spring rate and ride height for the stockers and they type-s? This is for my girlfriends car and she doesn't want the ride height lowered but wants improved handling I know, she should give me harder challenges huh, because impossible ones suck.

I would suggest height adjustable coilovers if you want that...I would have gone that route had it not been too expensive. I would say that the CL-S shocks are stiffer but not by a whole lot. They mostly help with high speed stability and cornering. Body roll is still prominent.

Too expensive and not worth it is they arn't going to be used for what they were designed for. Thanks for the suggestion though. Any one else know? Thanks.

Know what? I don't believe you can find specs on the springs, Honda doesn't publish that data in their service manuals. If you have access to a spring tester and have the extra cash, I'm sure we'd all be interested. Keep in mind the CL-S weighs about 400 pounds more than the AV6 and will be tuned for the extra weight.
